Pixel Warfare is a free to play online multi player 3D shoot em up game with old school graphics similar to Minecraft. There are many websites to play the game on, just download Unity Player, install it; and you are good to go. There are eight weapons in the game, two of which are usually locked when you spawn in to the battlefield; I will explain why further on. You start with a crowbar, but have access to five other weapons, pistol, shotgun, machinegun, sniper rifle, and paco gun. The other two weapons are the grenade launcher and rocket launcher, although these two weapons are often locked when you enter a game, to ensure a more balanced, fluid playing experience. That said, you can always host a game and enable them in your menu. Pixel Warfare has six maps to play on, ranging from smaller, tighter maps; to more open spaces. There are two modes of play available on the server when you join, Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch. You can also choose to host a game, and can specify the amount of players in your room, which map you want to play, whether some or all the weapons are available; and how long you want each game round to last. Deathmatch mode is a straight forward kill or be killed situation. Try to kill your opponents more times than they kill you to win the round. In Team Deathmatch, you join one of two sides, ‘the good guys’ or ‘the bad guys’. It’s a simple red versus blue setup, when you spawn on to the map, your team mates are highlighted in green as you move around, which helps to ensure you don’t shoot anyone on your side. Kill as many of the opposite team as you can to win the round. Overall, Pixel Warfare is a really fun, fast paced game to play. The weapons are satisfying to use and anyone can jump into this game and play it with little or no experience.
